How To Support Big Bike Ride 2

By August 11, 2015No Comments

Plans are well advanced for the Big Bike Ride 2, which is being run in conjunction with our friends at PCA Benevolent.

The ride kicks off in Cornwall with a gala dinner at the Cornwall Cricket Centre in Truro on the evening of 8th October, with five stages concluding at The Kia Oval in London on 13th October. The route includes stage finishes at Instow, Somerset CCC at Taunton, Hampshire CCC at the Ageas Bowl and Sussex CCC at Hove, finishing in London.

There are 80 riders committed to the whole 390-mile five-day ride, with daily riders on various stages. Among those who have signed up are England stars Steve Harmison, Michael Vaughan, Darren Gough, and Geraint Jones, as well as a host of other current and former county cricketers.

Training is well underway. Each rider will have his or her own way of fundraising but the most straightforward way you can contribute is by donating via the following link: http://www.thepca.co.uk/big-bike-ride2-fundraising.html
