The Chairman of the Tom Maynard Trust, Martyn Ryan, has established a new quarterly Sportsman’s Lunch to raise funds for Welsh sporting charities, one of which to benefit being the Tom Maynard Trust. The first one takes place at the Cameo Club in Cardiff’s Pontcanna district on Thursday 9th February, a couple of days before Wales take on England in the Six Nations championship.

Martyn anticipates that this will be the first of many, the aim being to cover a range of sports. For the first one, John Inverdale is the special guest .  The benefiting charities for the opening lunch are StaystrongforOws, Disability Sport Wales and the Tom Maynard Trust.  Spaces are limited to 80 and if anyone is interested please let Mike Fatkin know via the Trust’s email address and he can put them in touch with Martyn.
